Scope

The scope of this project was to estimate the conditions of the subsoil (made up of a sanitary landfill) prior to the improvement through the performance of CPTU tests and subsequent to the improvement of the subsoil in the vibrocompaction in the Port of La Guaira, Vargas Municipality. Vargas State, Venezuela.

 Geophysics (soil resistivity)

  • Ground Resistence tester, multi-function Model 6470-B.
  • Cable reels of 100mts.
  • Cables: 30mts 
  • 4 electrode bars of 36cms in length, steel material.
