Scope

The scope of this project was the determination of the resistivity of subsoil materials, by means of electrical resistivity test (Wenner) and vertical electric probes (Schlumberger), the determination of transmission speeds of P waves (longitudinal or compression) and S waves (transversal or cutting) by means of Down Hole test, the evaluation of the feasibility for the water supply with the execution of hydrogeological studies, quality control of civil works of soils, concrete and asphalt, topographic survey and the realization of geotechnical studies for the analysis and evaluation of the geotechnical characteristics and the dynamic parameters of the subsoil where the Electric Generation Plant TERMOCENTRO will be installed to be built in the former “Hacienda El Sitio”, located 7 km from the town of Santa Lucía, in the Municipality of Paz Castillo of the Miranda State.
